It's been a while since we've shared one of our $30 non-organic fruit and veg boxes, usually because I'm too busy to stop and take a photo.
So, here is this week's box:
Red potatoes, brown onions, celery, cauliflower, baby spinach, carrots, brussels sprouts, snow peas, seeded watermelon, tangelo, pink lady apples, and bananas.

There are plenty of names for produce that isn't "perfect" - B grade, seconds, imperfect, inglorious, misfits, and ugly produce.
These misshapen kiwi fruit are called flats and fans.
They are the result of terminal flowers fusing with early lateral flowers, caused by frost, heavy winds, and uneven pollination in early spring.
The result is flat or fan twin fruits, still perfectly edible and delicious.
These guys outsell regular (organic) kiwi fruit!
