We are a commons based business, which means that there is no one to benefit of the profits we make, other than you and our farmers! It is our passion to provide our community with clear conscience purchases of the healthiest, freshest and most sustainable food, directly sourced from local farmers, community gardens and private backyards. Our focus is placed upon finding the most natural products

with a priority given to locality and quality. It is our goal to rebuild social fabric within our communities through food, encouraging consumers and businesses to work cooperatively in order to support our local farmers and the overall local economy. We believe that access to safe and nutritious food, is like water, a fundamental human right. It is a common need which should not be exploited for the sake of increasing profits. Hunger has been created and supported by decisions driven by profits and trying to find the cheapest way to produce and market food. By introducing a regional food system, which can be controlled by conscious consumers, we can change our living for the better. Together, with you, let’s all get a box and create this new food system in order to restore our fundamental right to authentic food.

With the final days of Winter upon us and Spring drawing nearer, there is so much gratitude to be found for this time of year. Leaves are returning to the trees who shed them come the cold, and flowers are beginning to open their faces to the warming sun. Their scent floats about the air turning those golden hour strolls doubly delightful and sweet.⁠

Did you know silverbeet is a cultivated descendant of the wild sea beet? Its dark green, almost leathery leaves and earthy taste profile still remains in modern day silverbeet and other family members.⁠

Some call it Swiss chard, some even call it spinach while we personally like to call it gorgeous! A great source of vitamin C, A, magnesium and potassium, the only question left is who would like spanakopita? 🥧

10 years ago today, a beautiful seed was planted as we completed our first of many deliveries. ⁠

This seed, by the care of our community, the wisdom of our growers and the help of our team has grown into a magnificent tree which has sheltered, fed and given hope to many. It hasn't always been simple nor easy, but the important things in life rarely are!⁠
