After a lifetime of loving chocolate with a slightly obsessive love, years making it for other people, and teaching hundreds, from chefs to chocolate lovers and kids how to temper their own, I decided it was time to strike out on my own and Cacaoette was born. Twinkle stars and the rest of the Cacaoette cornucopia will not be at Kings Cross market this Saturday due to the extreme heat. Swings and roundabouts of market life - we can’t have the chocolate or maker melting down! Disappointing but it will be kept cool and perfect for next week.

The uniquely glorious festival is on today! Gutted to be a late scratching this year. A bit late to the global pandemic, I’ve caught Covid and can’t be there. It’s enormously disappointing for me but it’s a true yearly highlight and a beautiful day so go and enjoy all it has to offer. Be sure to check out and eat some of her cookies for me, followed by ridiculously good fritters and some luxurious bathing treats from Lisa . The selection of wineries and distilleries is worth a sip or three and you can relax in the verdant grounds of Wahroonga Park.
