The business of NUTorious began almost by accident, out of changed and pressing circumstances in life. As a result, the keepers of the recipe began experimenting with nut production, using any suitable household equipment. After much travelling about NSW to markets and fairs, (as well as purchasing the tools of the trade) Nutorious finally secured a regular gig at Paddington Markets… a famous star

t-up place for many successful businesses! In 2006, NUTorious opened its first shopfront in the beautiful QVB, providing another good reason for that trip to Sydney!

As a proudly Australian family-owned business, we source the highest quality nuts available, supporting Australian growers wherever possible. Our peanuts come from Queensland, almonds from Victoria and South Australia, and our macadamias from the family-run Waliz Nut Farm in the Byron Bay hinterland.

By working closely with trusted growers, we ensure every Nutorious nut delivers the flavour, quality and freshness our customers have come to love.

Visitors often stop in their tracks as the sweet smell of caramelising sugar drifts through the air. Inside, our Nutters stir the copper pots by hand, creating the freshly caramelised nuts that have made Nutorious famous.
