This week has been big and beautiful in the strangest of ways♥️
Here are some of the moments from Sunday evening to Wednesday after the passing of the woman who taught me how to make Broth - the matriarch of our family Aunty Marika.

For the next month I will be making some of the meals she made for me throughout my life and documenting them on my substack for that long awaited cookbook I must now write in honour of her memory♥️

This weekend we ate lots of cheese and cherries🧀🍒🧀🍒🧀🍒
We saw art, we had art restored. We tasted cheese at our favourite cheese shop - being half French and half German cheese is our whole families love language, so we bought enough to feed us many dinners like we ate tonight. 🍑🧀🍒🥓

We saw everyone’s favourite person Malcie and had incredible pizza with him🍕

We thought cherry picking might be a nice thing to do on a Sunday and it seems half of Melb had the same idea🍒🍒

But my favourite ending is always an ice bath and a sauna just before bed.

Last Christmas I made a book for each of my kids….a keep sake from me to them.

Frankie, my middle daughter loves to cook and she loves very particular things that I have cooked her whole life, my broth is her favourite!

So I put together her most loved recipes into her own little cookbook that now sits in her kitchen, in her own home.

It was my first attempt at a cookbook and it’s making me think maybe I should start compiling my recipes for you all, so you can have one of my cookbooks too!

We have finally completed our move to Melbourne and we are ready to start receiving our belated April membership orders. If you are already on our list you will receive an email from me later today requesting payment but if you are not and would like to be part of our monthly Love & Bones Broth delivery please DM me with your name and email.
And don’t forget still has broth in their freezers in both Woollahra and Rosebery stores.

I start cooking on Monday!

For my substack subscribers, apologies for the past few weeks of no recipes. I’m about to make it up to you by dropping all of my Michelle Schoeps Organic recipes! I started that blog way back in 2009 so there’s all kinds of yummy things from cooking for babies, gluten free cakes, all kinds of broth based deliciousness (before it was cool) and stories about my little family.
