Shout out to all the Market Spouses™️ — the unsung heroes of handmade capitalism.
The ones who:
* load and unload the car like a competitive sport
* carry multiple folding tables at once
* survive entirely on lukewarm coffee and crumbs from the snack stash
* say encouraging things like “it’s looking busy!” every 14 minutes
* hold the stall for bathroom and shopping breaks
* become experts in EFTPOS troubleshooting despite never asking for this life
* spend entire Sundays waiting for enough sales to buy extra snacks
Special shout out to mine, who deserves hazard pay, chiropractor reimbursement, and at minimum one commemorative custom mug. The executive vice president of carrying heavy stuff!
