We’re looking for a new face to join us at Hillsdon Grocer. 🌿
We’re on the hunt for a reliable, personable all-rounder who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, has an eye for the details and wants to become part of our little local community.
This is a permanent part-time position, with a guaranteed 12 hours across Wednesday, Thursday + Friday, 2pm–6pm. There’s potential to extend into longer shifts on those days, with the option of a Monday shift, depending on availability and mutual fit.
The role is a bit of everything: chatting with our locals, merchandising and keeping the store looking fresh, well-stocked and inviting, stock control and ordering support, keeping things clean and organised and generally helping Hillsdon run smoothly behind the scenes.
As you settle into the role, there’s also potential to take on more responsibility with supplier relationships and ordering.
You’ll need:
• Availability Wednesday, Thursday + Friday until 6pm
• Food Handler Certificate
• RSA
Retail or grocer experience, POS/EFTPOS experience, barista, kitchen or table service experience, RMLV or Food Safety Supervisor certification are all favourable, but not essential.
