The Atherton Farms We are a family run farm selling direct to the customer. For the remainder of 2016 we'll be at the Gawler Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am til 12noon.

You can find us at the Adelaide Farmers Market at the Adelaide Showgrounds every Sunday from 9am til1pm. Including Christmas Eve. Our aim has always been to be self-sufficient, but in a way that is both environmentally sustainable and that matches our particular ethical/moral barometer. In the process, we've experienced first-hand the joy you get from raising happy, healthy animals, and the subseq

uent satisfaction from knowing they are slaughtered and processed humanely. What we'd like to do now is expand that world to involve others. We've already started to do that with our circle of friends, and it's amazing how well that's worked. We want to go another step and make this a business venture, using that as a vector to deliver this message and lifestyle more broadly.
