CROP SWAP IS ON THIS SUNDAY, FOLLOWED BY OUR FIRST FREE FARM TALKS EVENT!

Our gardens might be between seasons, but there’s more than one reason to get together this Sunday! Following our usual swap, we will have our first free Farm Talks event, where a member of our local community will share a short talk on a gardening topic.

This Sunday we have Laura Smith from Fred’s Flowers teaching us about what flowers to grow in winter. Then there will be time to ask all your flower growing questions! Be sure to bring a rug or camping chair to enjoy the talk.

CROP SWAP kicks off at 9:15 for 9:30am
FARM TALKS kicks off at 10am.

Even in the quieter months there’s always something we can bake, make or find hidden in the garden to bring along. Think seed swaps, seedlings, flowers, herbs, bake something you love, or even something you’ve made!

THIS SUNDAY CROP SWAP TERMEIL IS BACK 🥦🪏👩🏼‍🌾

As the weather gets cooler and our gardens are turned over, it's a great opportunity to get more creative for our crop swap!

Bring along any garden excess, bake a homemade treat, or make something handmade we can use in our homes.

The essence of crop swap is about sharing what we have in abundance, so if your garden is looking low, make or bake something instead, bring some seedlings, some seeds to swap or some fresh flowers from your garden.

We'll meet behind the BP on Old Princes Highway at 915am for a 930am start next Sunday 3 May.

I'II also be sharing some news of a new event we're launching next crop swap to keep our momentum and garden love alive over the winter months.

Everyone is welcome! If you don't have anything to swap; you can still come along and be a part of the fun.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this morning for Crop Swap. We were all spoilt with delicious cakes, an abundance of fresh produce and meeting some great new local friends!

CROP SWAP TERMEIL IS BACK THIS SUNDAY 🍂

We’ll meet behind the BP Servo on Old Princes Highway from 915am for a 930am start.

Bring along any excess garden produce or homemade treats to share. If your family is in town for Easter, they are welcome to join too.

If you’re stuck for ideas of what to bring or don’t have a garden, here are some treasures we had last week to inspire your creativity:

- Rosemary salt
- Worm tea for the garden
- Homemade banana bread
- Pickles and jams
- Fresh eggs
- Seedlings
- Fresh flowers
- Home grown honey
….. and so much more!

Thank you to our generous community who came to our first monthly Crop Swap Termeil yesterday morning!

With an abundance of beautiful garden produce and home made magic we all walked away with baskets full.

Produce was swapped. Stories were told. And new friends were made.

Standouts this month were Jase's Moonlight Oysters, Mitch and Maddison's banana bread and the sweetest figs we've ever tasted.

A huge thanks to Deb at Winedown Permaculture for the acknowledgment to Country, Kim at The Farm Village for suppling the tables and gracious support, and to the creative eye of Natalie Childs for bringing the essence of our day life with this beautiful clip!

Crop Swap Termeil is a community gathering place where abundance flows freely and neighbours become kin.

We meet on the first Sunday of every month, a barter-based circle where gardeners, growers, and green thumbs share their harvest overflow, whether that’s a few left over zucchini’s, a handful of oranges, or a bundle of fresh herbs.

But you don’t need a garden to join in!
Bring what you have: a loaf of banana bread, a jar of homemade preserves, a bunch of wildflowers, or simply your presence and curiosity.

Here, excess becomes exchange, and what one person overflows with nourishes another.

Our mission is to cultivate connection. We believe that sharing what we grow and make strengthens the roots between us, deepens our care for the land, and weaves a culture of generosity right here on Yuin County in Termeil.

Come with your surplus, leave with something new, and stay for the stories that sprout when neighbors gather.

Welcome Friends!

After being a part of the Crop Swap Conjola community for the past 2 years, I wanted to spread the love that Matt & Lucy have created to the other end of town where I call home.

Crop Swap Termeil will take place on the first Sunday of every month just behind the BP Servo on Old Princes Highway, in Termeil. Arrive from 915am for a 930am start. Kicking off on Sunday 1 March.

Bring along anything you have in abundance to swap, veggies, herbs, seeds, seedlings, or anything you make by hand that you might like to trade with our community. If your garden isn’t flourishing but you want to be a part of the magic, bake a treat or get creative!
