Our first spring Crop Swap and you could feel the anticipation in the air 🌱

With four tables filled with generous abundance, everyone left with full baskets.

A special shout out to Maddie who spent the morning making fresh lemonade for us all from the citrus offerings in our swap 🍋

CROP SWAP IS BACK NEXT SUNDAY 🥬

Spring is here next week and so is Crop Swap Termeil 🌿

Come on down to the grassy patch behind the BP servo on Old Princes Highway with your left over winter crops, spring seeds and seedling, or bake or make something to swap!

We’ll start setting up at 915am for a 930am swap kick off.

A few people have asked if they can come to check it out, even if they don’t have something to swap. YES! It’s open to those who want to see before they swap so tell your neighbours and friends so we can revel in the spring magic together

Bring along you garden excess, citrus abundance and over flowing greens. Or bake something homemade for us to share.

Crop Swap kicks off at 930am (arrive from 915am to set up), then following our swap Margot will share a short talk on using Biochar in our gardens. A perfect time to start to refresh our beds before spring planting.

I’ll be away this week and Deb will be running the circle.

It's citrus season and our brassicas are popping, so it's time for our July Crop Swap Termeil gathering next Sunday!

We'll meet behind the BP on Old Princes Highway at 915am for a 930am start. Bring your excess garden goods, bake a treat to share or bring something to nourish our gardens or kitchens. Everyone is welcome.

Following our swap at 10am we'll have our Farm Talks event, where Debbie Potts Winedown Permaculture is going to share how we can use home grown herbs for simple first aid remedies!

CROP SWAP IS ON THIS SUNDAY, FOLLOWED BY OUR FIRST FREE FARM TALKS EVENT!

Our gardens might be between seasons, but there’s more than one reason to get together this Sunday! Following our usual swap, we will have our first free Farm Talks event, where a member of our local community will share a short talk on a gardening topic.

This Sunday we have Laura Smith from Fred’s Flowers teaching us about what flowers to grow in winter. Then there will be time to ask all your flower growing questions! Be sure to bring a rug or camping chair to enjoy the talk.

CROP SWAP kicks off at 9:15 for 9:30am
FARM TALKS kicks off at 10am.

Even in the quieter months there’s always something we can bake, make or find hidden in the garden to bring along. Think seed swaps, seedlings, flowers, herbs, bake something you love, or even something you’ve made!

THIS SUNDAY CROP SWAP TERMEIL IS BACK 🥦🪏👩🏼‍🌾

As the weather gets cooler and our gardens are turned over, it's a great opportunity to get more creative for our crop swap!

Bring along any garden excess, bake a homemade treat, or make something handmade we can use in our homes.

The essence of crop swap is about sharing what we have in abundance, so if your garden is looking low, make or bake something instead, bring some seedlings, some seeds to swap or some fresh flowers from your garden.

We'll meet behind the BP on Old Princes Highway at 915am for a 930am start next Sunday 3 May.

I'II also be sharing some news of a new event we're launching next crop swap to keep our momentum and garden love alive over the winter months.

Everyone is welcome! If you don't have anything to swap; you can still come along and be a part of the fun.

CROP SWAP TERMEIL IS BACK THIS SUNDAY 🍂

We’ll meet behind the BP Servo on Old Princes Highway from 915am for a 930am start.

Bring along any excess garden produce or homemade treats to share. If your family is in town for Easter, they are welcome to join too.

If you’re stuck for ideas of what to bring or don’t have a garden, here are some treasures we had last week to inspire your creativity:

- Rosemary salt
- Worm tea for the garden
- Homemade banana bread
- Pickles and jams
- Fresh eggs
- Seedlings
- Fresh flowers
- Home grown honey
….. and so much more!
