What's your oil of choice? 🍳

Here at the co-op, we have you absolutely covered with high quality sesame, flaxseed, coconut and olive oils, even with crunchy chilli oil if you're after something different!

Our olive and sesame oils are also available via our weigh and pay station, making it a brilliant choice to grab as little or as much as you need!

While we have a great range of fresh seasonal produce at the co-op, we also have a freezer of frozen fruits to keep those cravings at bay! Frozen fruit is just as brilliant as fresh as it is picked at peak ripeness, locking in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, all while available year round! 🍍🥭🫐

It's NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK 🙌 and we wanted to give a big shoutout to all the volunteers that keep the co-op running. This produce face is almost smiling as wide as we do when we think of our vollies! If you didn't know, the co-op relies on volunteers to keep the shop running, these individuals are active members who do a variety of things such as stocking shelves, filling products, washing aprons and collecting deliveries! If you know someone who volunteers make sure to wish them a happy volunteer week this week ❤

Love community, ethical food systems, and being part of something bigger than retail?

Flame Tree Food Co-op in Thirroul is looking for a Retail Duty Officer (Casual) to join our small, passionate team.

This hands-on casual role includes:
✨ Opening & closing the store
✨ Cash handling & reconciliation
✨ Supporting and coordinating volunteers
✨ Creating a warm, welcoming customer experience

We’re after someone confident, reliable, community-minded, and comfortable taking the lead with kindness and initiative.

🕒 Availability needed:
We need someone who is available across the week: Mon–Fri 8am–7pm + Sat 8am–5pm. We anticipate there will be 9-15 rostered hours per week, though that may vary.

💰 Award Rate: MA000004 Retail Level 4
