You can’t convince me that food shouldn’t be one of the highlights of a retreat.
I’ve been on retreats where they only served breakfast and lunch and apparently you were just supposed to survive the afternoon on herbal tea and good intentions.
I’ve also been on retreats with tiny portions, calorie-counting energy, and enough beans to test the strength of every digestive system in the room.
Respectfully… no.
The Whole Woman Retreat isn’t about restriction.
It’s about nourishment.
Because when women are already exhausted, overstimulated, hormonally all over the place, and running on fumes, they do not also need to be hungry.
At this retreat, Justin from Empower Wholefoods is feeding us all weekend.
And if you know Justin, you know the man can cook.
Everything is made from scratch using the same organic grass-fed meats, seasonal organic produce, bone broths, and wholefood ingredients we source through Empower.
No hidden nasties.
No cheap seed oils.
No ultra-processed “health foods”.
Just really nourishing food made with a lot of love and care.
The menu is designed by Melissa as a Health Coach, and lovingly brought to life by Justin, so you feel satiated, nourished, and looked after from the inside out.
At my last retreat, Justin was in the kitchen from the first coffee orders in the morning through to the last plate in the dishwasher at night, keeping everyone fed the entire weekend.
But the biggest thing?
Nobody had to think about any of it.
Nobody planned meals.
Nobody cooked.
Nobody cleaned up.
Nobody stood in front of the fridge at 5pm trying to work out what to make for dinner while already exhausted.
