Hello 👋🏼 We’re Anthony & Carmen Giarratana, the new owners of Vermont South Delicatessen!
We’re so excited to be part of this wonderful local community and look forward to getting to know all of our customers.
Hospitality has always been a big part of our lives. Anthony has spent over 26 years in the industry (many locals may remember our restaurant Il Sogno in Surrey Hills), and Carmen also grew up around hospitality with her parents running an Italian restaurant in Box Hill.
Over time we’ll be slowly adding some new products to the deli, (very exciting!!) including on the spot freshly filled cannolis (made fresh by Anthony!) and other Mediterranean favourites.
We always love hearing from our customers about flavours or products you’d like to see in store as well, so please feel free to share these thoughts with us.
You may also notice two very lively children from time to time, our kids Allegra and Marco — usually busy taste-testing or sneaking a cannoli or two!
