🏉 WHAT A SEASON FOR OUR REDLANDS COMBINED LADIES!
What a journey it has been for our Redlands Combined Women in 2026.
From the first training session to making it all the way to the QSRU SEQ Cup Grand Final, this group has shown incredible commitment, determination and pride in every game.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be in yesterday’s Grand Final, with Redlands Combined going down 22–17 to Sunnybank Dragons Senior Rugby in a hard-fought contest at our Cyclones home ground.
While the result wasn’t what we wanted, the girls can be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Reaching a Grand Final is a fantastic accomplishment, and the team continued to fight right until the final whistle.
A huge congratulations to Sunnybank on their victory, and thank you to everyone who came along to support our women and create such a fantastic Grand Final atmosphere.
To our incredible players, the coaches, manager and everyone behind the scenes who has supported the team throughout the season — thank you.
Your commitment, hard work and belief in each other has made this season one to remember.
This team has laid the foundations for something special. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
