86,000 meals.
That’s how many meals provided to people in our community last year alone 🫶
Tomorrow at our birthday event, Newy’s Healthiest Sausage Sanga, we’ll be raising funds for this amazing local charity.
With the current economic climate, more and more people are doing it tough, so we wanted to align our event with an organisation that’s out there making a real difference in our community. These guys do that and some!
Soul Hub provides a safe place for anyone who needs it, offering services like medical care, hot meals, food support, laundry facilities and most importantly, a sense of community.
Last year alone they provided over 86,000 meals and are supported by more than 300 volunteers who help make it all happen.
We were genuinely blown away by their facilities, the work they do and the impact they have on so many people in Newcastle. It’s comforting to know there are places like this for people to turn to when they need a helping hand.
That’s why tomorrow we’ll be donating 50% of all sausage sanga proceeds directly to Soul Hub to help support the incredible work they do.
If you’d like to chip in a little extra, we’ll also have a donation tap station at the BBQ where you can contribute whatever you feel comfortable with.
Every dollar helps and every contribution, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated 🙏
We’ll also have our naturopath Sarah sampling some delicious food and beverages next to the BBQ.
