SASHIMI AT THE CO-OP!!!!!

We are trialling something here at the Ballina Fishermen’s co-op. 👀👀

We are offering locally caught sliver Trevally Sashimi, get in while stock lasts!! 🍣

If you’ve never tried Sashimi, then this is your sign to come down to the Ballina Fisherman’s Co-Op and try some!

This will only be limited as the product is local and fresh.

We are open till 6:00 tonight!

SNAPPER SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!!! 🐟🐟🐟🐟

Snapper is finally in season!!! We have some beautiful, fresh, locally caught snapper from our members here at Ballina Fishermen’s Co-op

Whether your after whole snapper or fillets we’ve got you covered.

We are also offering a Snapper and chips deal for $15. You can decide between crumbed or battered and we will cook it up for you with a side of small chips!!!!

The Trawlers just unloaded this morning!

The weather has finally cleared up which means the trawlers are back to work.

New cookers are being installed tomorrow, so unfortunately we will be unable to cook food until 1:30 pm.

This Sunday, 5 July, local organisations, businesses and residents with flagpoles are invited to fly their flags at half-mast from sunrise to sunset.

This simple but meaningful gesture will show our community’s respect and support for Marine Rescue Ballina, its volunteers and families, and every person affected by the tragedy of 4 May.

The Marine Rescue Community Memorial Service will also be held at 11.00am at Ballina RSL Memorial Park, near the Cenotaph.

For those unable to be there in person, the service will be livestreamed. Boats are also welcome to gather respectfully on the river, with the livestream displayed on a large outdoor screen visible from the water.

On Sunday, we invite our community to stand together - to remember, reflect and show our support.
