Located in the stunning Hunter Valley near Newcastle, NSW - we deliver from the Central Coast to Port Stephens and everywhere inbetween. We also offer a range of sweet treats and these can be found on our website. Our studio is by appointment only, we don't provide quotes via DM's so please go to our website and fill in a contact form.

A sleek rectangle beauty in hand painted black fondant, finished with moulded and hand painted silver edible studs running along every edge and the cheekiest "married AF" script on top.

In delicious white chocolate with white chocolate ganache and caramel with white chocolate ganache hiding inside because rebel energy still needs to taste incredible. Bold, edgy and completely them.🥂

The face behind the cakes 🤍

Hi, I’m Fiona, the face (and hands!) behind Dragonfly Cakes. Growing up in Newcastle in a family that loved to cook and entertain, I was the kid flipping through the Women’s Weekly Birthday Cake Book, dreaming up my next masterpiece.

What started as a passion project alongside my day job quickly grew into something so much bigger and in early 2020 I opened my shopfront in Weston, right in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

I believe a wedding cake should be more than just dessert, it should be a centrepiece, a talking point and most importantly, something you can’t wait to eat .😍 That’s why every single cake is made from scratch with premium ingredients, delicious from the very first slice to the very last crumb.
