Manuka gets a lot of love online, but here's the thing. 🍯

It's not native to WA, so every jar you find here has been pasteurised on the way in due to our strict bio-security laws. That heat treatment knocks out a good chunk of what makes medicinal honey worth buying in the first place. They don't tell you that on the label, though!

Jarrah is WA's own, which means ours arrives completely raw and unprocessed. It's lab-tested to certify the medicinal qualities, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Craig's legendary 2nd place Chilli Con Carne. 🌶️

Back before kids, Craig hosted an annual Chilli Cookoff. Every mate brought a pot, and they were blind tasted and judged on Flavour, Heat, Texture, X-Factor, and the all-important "Is It a Chilli?" (added after someone entered a cob loaf in year one and came third!).

Craig never won. He came second every single year. First prize for consistency.

The recipe still gets pulled out occasionally, just toned down a little for the small ones these days. One day the cookoff returns, and Craig's not stopping until he takes the top spot.

We love making things in-store, but sometimes a supplier just does it better. 🥣

We've brought on three certified organic granolas to sit alongside our muesli range. Unlike muesli, granola is baked, which does wonders for flavour even if it gives up a little on nutrition. Worth it.

Choose from Apple, Cranberry & Almond; Maple & Almond Crunch; or Cacao, Coconut & Chia. That last one is our favourite, just quietly.

All certified organic, in-store now.

With Plastic Free July coming up next month, we're bringing back something we did a few years ago: Show Off Your Pantry!

If you're a customer of ours, chances are you've put real effort into creating a healthy pantry full of good food. We truly believe that a well-organised pantry sets the foundation for a healthy diet. When the right foods are easily accessible, we tend to reach for them first!

When Sarah and I purchased our home back in 2019, we absolutely loved the kitchen but completely forgot to check out the pantry... it's tiny! Having moved from a rental with loads of pantry space, we had to get creative.

We started by using consistent containers that stack well, and I also mounted a spice rack to the pantry door to make use of every millimetre of space possible. The result is simply wonderful. Everything is right at hand, which makes cooking so easy. We don't spend any time searching for ingredients—we get stuck straight into it!

Introducing Frankincense Resin (no, this isn't just a bowl of rocks!)

Our full range of Coconut Aminos from our friends at Niulife 🥥

Coconut Aminos is a soy-free and gluten-free alternative to soy sauce, and is made by fermenting the nectar of a coconut palm flower 🌸

We've got their Original, Naked (no salt), Sweet Chilli, BBQ and Teriyaki flavoured aminos, as well as their Vegan Fysh Sauce. You can use them in pretty much anything, so we recommend giving it a go! 😋

Bourghal? Bulgar Wheat? We have it, no matter what you call it! 🤣

It's a staple in a lot of Turkish and Lebanese recipes and is a super versatile grain. It's high in fibre and protein, cooks in about 10 minutes, and costs next to nothing! 👌

If you're not sure where to start, use it like you would rice or couscous. In tabbouleh, pilafs, stuffed veggies, cold salads or just throw it in a soup 🍲
