Good Afternoon Wynyard and Surrounds. It has been two years ago this week since we lost our home on the farm at Rocky Cape to fire. Most days we have had numerous customers enquiring on what it is we are going to do, sell? buy? or build. They are truly concerned.
Jen and I just wish to share with you all, that we are rebuilding on the Rocky Cape farm. Nothing elaborate. It will be a home not a house. A comfortable barn style home that fits into the surrounds. Just us, two horses, a few cattle and a whole lot of nature.
Many people have worked hard to make this happen and for this we are truly grateful.
Our Jack of All Trades Wayne Barrett has done the lion's share of the work onsite with local Draftsperson/Designer and much more Rosene Cox smoothly co ordinating the process.
We need to "Thank" the Development Team at Circular Head Council also. They have been nothing but helpful and obliging all whilst being truly professional. They just made this whole deal happen. No Disagreements. Never a cross word was spoken.
In saying that though, all has not been easy. There have been a few bumps in the road along the way, but we called upon the services of local firm Rod Glover Legal to look after this for us in his quite unassuming manner.
We also need to "Thank" the Wynyard community. It is because of you guys that we never gave in and kept turning up to fight the fight.
Life is Good. If you truly want something, go after it and bu**er those that try to take away what is truly yours.
