Vaibhav Suryavanshi, born March 27, 2011, in Tajpur, Samastipur, Bihar, is an Indian cricketer known for his remarkable achievements at a very young age. A left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, he plays for Bihar in domestic cricket and the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

- **First-Class Debut**: Made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar against Mumbai in January 2024 at 12 years and 284 days, becoming the second-youngest player to debut for Bihar and the fourth-youngest Indian in first-class cricket history and 23 days, he became the youngest player in IPL history, debuting for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants. Suryavanshi started playing cricket at nine, coached initially by his father, Sanjeev, a farmer and part-time journalist. He joined a cricket academy in Samastipur and later trained under former Ranji player Manish Ojha. His talent shone in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, where he scored around 400 runs in five matches at age 12. His performances in domestic tournaments and Rajasthan Royals’ trials in Nagpur, where he hit eight sixes and four fours, caught the attention of IPL scouts.
