The crème brûlée was here…
And apparently… it didn’t last very long, as Marijn couldn't resist it!

Since August 1st, our crème brûlée is available fresh at the shop.

Made with three kinds of vanilla and caramelised to order, just the way it should be.
And yes… you still have to make that first crack yourself.

A little throwback to cooler days…

Back in April, Sam, a visitor from New Zealand who was in Ghent to visit his son, stopped by our shop and ended up meeting Marijn in person, leaving with a signed copy of the Relais Desserts book.

A spontaneous encounter turned into a special souvenir..

To Marijn, the cacao pod is one of nature's most beautiful creations: organic, elegant and full of character.

As a symbol deeply rooted in the jungles and cultures of Latin America, it became the inspiration for Marijn's logo: a fusion of the cacao pod and his own fingerprint.

These handcrafted chocolate cacao pods adorn our Conquest pastry, a creation that tells the story of how the conquest of the New World also marked the beginning of cacao's journey to conquer hearts across the globe.
