Food in Kathmandu 🇳🇵
(and a little reflection)
Beautiful thali, thai curry, noddles soup, lot of momo, of course, vegan version of traditional dishes & new flavors 😋
Again it was difficult to find a decaf in such big coffee culture. With the smell everywhere, I must say it was challenging not try a good Himalaya coffee. Well, among so many exceptions I manage, at least, to resist this one 😁
I'm allowing myself to step out of my routine and having more frying/spicy things than usual (when in Rome 🤷🏻♀️). Yes, they love deep fried with a lot of spices and I had to let it go but I must confess I can't wait to detox my body.
It's not just about a body cleansing, I can feel the excess of rajasic/tamasic food affecting my energy, my sleep, my mood and my mind 😵💫
It makes me wonder how much all society is affected with a diet like this. Have you think about that? Have you ever made a connection between the dietary habits of a nation and their behavior? How many more diseases they have tendency to develop? How much it affects their mind/emotions?
I invite you to take a minute and reflect, no matter where you from or live: can you identify any relation between a culture identity with its diet? 🤔
Looking forward to see your comments with your point of view 😁
