Alphonsas Gourmet Inc is a small artisan condiment company from Ajax, Ontario. I worked in the food industry for many years. But I then decided to follow my passion to creating delicious sauces and salsas selling through farmers markets and festivals in 2013! As of COVID-19 we have moved our sales operation online. We are looking into selling through stores all over Ontario. As part of a multi
cultural family, we believe that food brings us together and we express our culture though it. We strive to create a strong fusion of flavors. As an example, our signature barbecue sauce utilizes ginger as its main ingredient which is only really used for South Asian creations while barbecue sauce is a western invention. This theme of blending different types of food is ever-present in our products. Health is very important to us; we make our sauces with natural ingredients with no preservatives. Our products are gluten free which allows our products to be significantly more accessible for everyone. We also source our ingredients ethically from local Ontario farmers in the growing season.
