We use local ingredients. We are frozen takeaway. How it began:
Veronica started making perogies in her home kitchen as a treat to share with loved ones. Soon, she was fulfilling friend's requests by making perogies on evenings and weekend. Carrying on her Ukrainian grandparents legacy (from Grand Forks, BC) for exceptional cooking and endless kindness, Veronica quickly realized that she could

start a perogy business around these values in the Lower Mainland. Starting with just word-of-mouth advertising, donating to worthy causes, and a home kitchen, "Veronica's Gourmet Perogies" was born. Eventually, Veronica moved into her current location in Aldergrove and her perogies have expanded to the shelves of local grocery stores.

**A unique take on Traditional Food**

One of the best things about Veronica's Gourmet Perogies is the abundance of unique flavours that put a spin on a traditional perogy. From Pizza Perogies to Turkey Dinner Perogies, there is sure to be a perogy just for you!

**Kindness and Heart for Community**

In addition to hard work and delicious perogies, Veronica makes a point of giving back to the community. She supports a wide variety of local programs and charities such as Acts of Kindness, Happy Herd Animal Sanctuary and Cops for Cancer. She also does everything she can to buy ingredients from local farms and businesses. Aside from mouth water-watering flavours, she attributes her success to the following principles, works hard and be kind to others.

DO IT. 🥓🥟

Get your bacon. Get your favourite Veronica’s Gourmet Perogy.
Wrap that raw bacon around the perogy and place it on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Pop it in the oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes until that bacon is cooked and crispy.

The fat and juices from the bacon infuse right into the perogy… and yes, it’s as good as it sounds.

Not a new idea, just a forgotten one.

What an incredible evening at the Aldergrove Legion on Saturday night!

We are so grateful to everyone who came out and supported this sold-out event.

Bringing this fundraiser together took many months of planning, countless volunteer hours, and the generosity of so many sponsors, donors, and community members. From our volunteers working behind the scenes to those who donated amazing silent auction items, this event would not have been possible without you.

Most importantly, we were able to raise awareness and support for the mental health challenges and PTSD faced by our first responders, military members, and veterans.

These individuals dedicate their lives to serving our communities and our country, and this evening was about giving back to them.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. Together, we are making a difference. ❤️🇨🇦
