How to order from us and support your local community growers! 👩‍🌾
Visit moondanceorganics.ca and sign up for our newsletter by visiting our CONTACT page. We send out our Google Order form on Wednesday evening for you to order by 2PM on Friday. Pick up at the farm on Saturday between 10AM-1PM. Pay cash or etransfer is!
We have our eggs, local honey always on the menu, but now that the growing season has started we have salad greens, asparagus, rhubarb, herbs, and soon to be more seasonal fruit and veggies as the season progresses. All ORGANIC! 🪴🍅🥔🥒🥦🌽

Here are our VENDORS for the Moondance Community Market happening Saturday May 30th! 🥳
These markets really are about building community, and we are so happy to have some of our same vendors back that have turned into friends, discovering new local vendors, and really finding unique artisans to come and share their craft. 🤌☺️
We will be selling our own produce, our Garden Centre will be open, will having an Open House, and there is a Beginner Wood Carving Workshop happening at 3pm. Tickets at rewildingeducation.ca. 🌳

This year we focused helping you grow as much food as possible. We have many different fruit trees and shrubs, and even have a Pear tree that grows 4 different varieties. 🍐
We also have cool weather tolerant seedlings that are ready to go in the ground. 🪴

Spring time on the Farm 🍃🌷☀️🌧️
Walks in the forest with the dogs observing the forest plants awakening…. Including wild leeks (soon available to order on our weekly order form).
Rhubarb and garlic are sprouting up from the ground despite the soggy land and Asparagus will be next. In the greenhouse we have our spring greens starting, which will be available when our Garden Centre opens May 7! 🪴

The New Tecumseth Film Festival proudly presents WE LEND A HAND: THE FORGOTTEN STORY OF THE ONTARIO FARMERETTES, with a special pop-up experience featuring !

Sheldon Creek Dairy, a local farm here in New Tecumseth, will be at the Circle sampling some of their products from 12–1:00PM, and again following the film from 2–2:30PM. Come experience this powerful Canadian documentary and enjoy delicious samples from a local farm before and after the screening. 🍿🐄

We Lend a Hand: The Forgotten Story of the Ontario Farmerettes is a documentary that uncovers the overlooked history of the Ontario Farm Service Force, which put more than 40,000 teenage girls to work between 1941 and 1952. Arriving from across Ontario and Quebec, these volunteers—known as the Farmerettes—were sent to farms throughout Southwestern Ontario to help ensure critical food production during one of the most perilous periods of modern history. With no prior farming experience, they endured relentless weather and demanding schedules, yet produced hundreds of thousands of tons of food shipped overseas to feed starving European populations and prisoners of war. Through reenactments and rare archival images, the film revisits the remarkable contributions of these women, now in their late 90s, preserving their cherished memories and reminding us that service takes many forms.
