Ever been curious about sprouting? We started a tablespoon of Organic Sandwich Booster from Mumm's Sprouting Seeds in the shop on Sunday evening. They are already looking like little junior sprouts and will be ready to eat by Thursday. Very little effort, very little expense, but lots of flavour and nutrition!

There is so much going on in Annapolis Royal this weekend!

Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market is on today.
Happy Acadian Day to all our friends and neighbours.
The Historic Gardens are celebrating their 45th birthday, so it is a perfect time to stroll through their beauty.
And this weekend is Paint the Town Annapolis Royal so keep your eyes peeled for easels out in the wild, then pop over to the ARTSPLACE and ARCAC website to bid on the finished products.

So enjoy the seeing and the doing and the strolled and the celebrating! We will be here with cold drinks, snacks, treats, and all the bulk pantry basics you might need for the week ahead.

We love seeing all the Down East jugs being returned for refilling. Look how much plastic you folks are keeping out of landfill each time you have your containers refilled! We are returning 27 20L jugs this time.

Down East has a closed loop so these empties will be sent back for cleaning and refilling, then make their way back to us with all the dishwashing, hand, or laundry soap that you love.
