What started with a handful of dedicated vendors, now boasts over 50 vendors each week and has turned into the hot spot on Saturday morning. A place to meet old friends, and make new ones. Located on James Street, ( on the Fair Grounds) in the 4-H building. Just follow the crowd on any Saturday morning.

Temperatures are up and rain fall is down, we need rain to replenish our aquifers, groundwater, and wells. A drop in water level at our water tower in Lower South River has us monitoring all systems. Please help us conserve water. Conservation benefits us all; your cooperation ensures that essential services like hospitals and fire departments have the water they need and helps protect long-term water access for everyone.

Meet Crossroads Valley Farm
Crossroads Valley Farm is a family-run farm operated by Mike and Tricia Ward alongside their daughters, Sadie and Fiona. Located in the beautiful Ohio River Valley south of Antigonish, the farm is rooted in community, ethical farming, and a love of great-tasting food.
They raise truly free-range, medication-free chickens and turkeys, provide farm-fresh eggs, and raise pigs outdoors in the forest, where they forage for grubs, roots, and apples.

You can also enjoy breakfast sandwiches, specialty coffees and espresso drinks, Freezies, and popsicles.

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Antigonish Farmers’ Market Association!

The Antigonish Fire Training Centre would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Antigonish Farmers’ Market Association for their incredible support by allowing us to set up a table every Saturday to sell 50/50 tickets in support of our future Fire Training Centre.

Your generosity and commitment to supporting local organizations have provided us with a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and raise funds for a project that will benefit firefighters and communities throughout our region for generations to come. We truly appreciate your partnership and ongoing support.

The Antigonish Farmers’ Market is one of the best places to experience everything our amazing community has to offer. With an incredible variety of local vendors, you can find everything from fresh vegetables and locally raised meats to home-cooked meals, delicious baked goods and desserts, handmade jewelry, toys, artisan clothing and accessories, bath and body products, and so much more. There’s truly something for everyone!

If you haven’t been lately, make sure to stop by the Antigonish Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Support local businesses, meet the talented vendors, and don’t forget to stop by the Antigonish Fire Training Centre table to say hello and pick up your 50/50 tickets while you’re there.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Antigonish Farmers market today. It was a great day, I love seeing all of you and chatting. With that being said, can I ask that if you order something from me to please honor it and show up to pick it up. It happens way too often where I get asks to make a special order or someone asks me to put something aside for them and they don't pick it up. I have spoken to other vendors who are going through the exact same thing. We all work hard at what we do and appreciate that people do not take advantage of our kindness.
