Now based in the South Peace Regional District, we're eager to start working on our new property.
☀️The new climate and growing zone will provide a welcome challenge. Currently, we don't have any gardens established and will need to clear the land once spring arrives.🌱
There's still a significant amount of snow and ice on the ground. ❄️🌬️
🤨Given these circumstances, the outlook for Lana Rae's first year here is uncertain. We'll likely prioritize setting up new gardens and developing food security plans tailored to this new growing climate. 🌦️
🌿We're excited to share our progress with you once we're back to gardening with the possibly of some Northern Markets in late summer or autumn.🍂

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you: friends, vendors who became friends, market managers, community members, neighbours, and tourists who have supported my business over the last 5 years. 💕

Thank you to all of you in the interior of BC who generously shared your abundance of fruits, veggies, and canning supplies with us, enabling me to transform them into long-lasting, value-added products that promote clean living and eating.🍓🫐🍒🍑🍏🍐🍇

We are thrilled to embark on a new journey to Northern BC, filled with exciting opportunities, and we look forward to this new chapter in our lives. We will miss you all and I will also deeply miss the long growing season and all the wild fruits and veggies that Ashcroft and area has provided for the 22 years I have lived here. While I do not plan to continue the preserving business into 2026, I remain committed to promoting food security through growing, harvesting, gleaning, and preserving by sharing my knowledge and skills.

As we look forward to this new chapter, we will cherish the friendships and memories we have made and eagerly anticipate visiting in the future. We hope to see you when we do! So if you see us over then next couple of weeks, it might be the last time for a while. We are doing our best to say goodbye to each of you. 💕🌹😊🤗
