Swiss chard, early tomatoes as I accidently pulled the plant ( they're suppose to be a variety of red and purple ) and lots of cherry tomatoes

Swiss chard $2 a bundle
Tomatoes .25
Cherry tomatoes $3 a qt

Prefure pick up tomorrow throughout the day if possible :)
On the 4th concession in Beaverton , send me a message if you would like some :)

There will be loads more cherry tomatoes , celebrity tomatoes, beans ( yellow , purple and green )

Last night I lost a battle to a chicken 🀣🀣🀣 she was absolutely relentless so I caved , she managed against our best efforts to get herself into the mama hut.......11 chicks outside with 2 mamas now ...... Let's see how this goes 🀣 so far so good !

Well I haven't done an update in a while

The 6 chicks that hatched out on Canada day are now 4 weeks old , they have gotten the boot out of the lucky hut and are now in the chicken tractor.

Mama hen hatched out 5 and I hatched out 16 babes from a friend's fertilized eggs , they are lavender Orpington, silkie and Easter Eggers mix.

Battling lemon for the chicks that she did no work to hatch was sooooooo much fun I'm sorry we didn't video that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but mama olive Egger is happy and content in the lucky hut with her 5 babes, we made a secure area for her to have them in and out of the hut during the day. The 16 that I hatched out are all happy and healthy in the brooder :)

The garden got a much needed watering yesterday ! I will be working this week picking beans and checking out what else I have ready to go :) keep an eye out for posts for up coming garden goodies πŸ˜‰β€οΈ

6 baby chicks 5 are 7 days old 1 is 4 days old

7 baby ducks ( 4 cayuga's came today for a friend ) I hatched out 1 Cayuga and 2 of my pekins ....2 did not hatch .... 2 more pekins to come later this week / weekend .......

All happy and healthy ❀️ 5 cayugas are leaving tomorrow and I plan to grow out the rest and see what I have :) incubator will be going again soon with some chicks from a friend's hens ( also plan to grow them out to see what we have by the end of summer ) excited to see what they little cuties grow into ❀️ fingers crossed for all hens but I am not that lucky 🫣🀣🀣🀣 time will tell :)

Well this doesn't happen everyday 🀣🀣 meet crash ..... Looking like a baby seagull...... Crash here came in really hot and had a bad crash landing out with the ducks and chickens ...... They all ran for their lives 🀣 it stayed in one spot for a little then wing walked around for a little ..... I walked up to it without issues and picked the poor doodle up ...... I have him in a crate with water , wet dog food and a can of tuna .... Safe space to chill out , I don't think it's injured but I also don't really know ...... I called shades of hope and have been advised by them to leave it to chill out in the crate for a while , later today try and release it ....... If it goes it's fine if it doesn't then I'm going to bring it to them ....... Keep ya posted on how crash makes out ...... Never a dull moment around here 🀣🀣
