I do NOT know what happened to August never mind this being halfway through September thing! I finally restocked the honey and am making jam every second day to keep some stock out there. Thank you everyone for the busiest year the stand ever saw. We will stay open until September 30th.

But… this year we will continue to make jam throughout the winter (freezer is nicely packed!) and orders can be picked up at the stand. We will also be making the Christmas baskets again and those will be available for pick up in December.

Strawberry rhubarb jam is going back on the shelf tomorrow, any bets how long it’ll last 🤷‍♀️😂

We are halfway through high summer and it’s been a busy jam season so far. Lots of honey, soap and garden snacks have left the stand as well ☺️. We’ve decided to expand our selections of the amazing locally made Grumpy Goat Soaps. We are now carrying more scents than ever and some beautiful new products as well. Beef tallow products and luxurious goats milk bath.

S’more cake pops are in the fridge!!

Just a friendly PSA…. I do realize it’s inconvenient that the recycling no longer allows glass…. We can’t take on the responsibility of disposing of it for others. Returned canning jars are great but I had to take the return bin away for a reason. I cannot reuse grocery store jars that you purchase your sauces in. They are not food safe by VIHA standards and they aren’t approved for home canning. When you drop flats of these off at our house we have to pay, per weight, to dispose of them at waste management. Until we can do a dump run we have to store them at our home.

Thank you to everyone in this community who has supported our little Jam Stand over the years. If you want to return any of the canning jars to the stand please just tuck them in the side shelves or behind the soap cupboard.

The salad tunnel needed a good trim so the cooler is full of all things green today. I’ve restocked the cake pops with Cherry Vanilla and we have a fresh restock of Kate’s Kookies. This weeks recommendation is the “carrot cheese cake”…. I don’t even need to explain that one 😄🤤 Enjoy the warm weekend!
