If you told me 15 years ago that I’d still be reading to Kindergarten classes, and loving every single second of it... I would have absolutely believed you.

Today marks 15 years of one of my absolute favourite traditions: visiting our local kindergarteners at the Sheep River Library to share a story and make sure every single family in our TV and BD schools walks away with a family library card.

This year’s crowd-pleaser? A hilarious tale about a little girl causing absolute chaos in a grocery store (honestly, relatable!). Seeing their eyes light up, hearing their giggles, and knowing that we are opening the door to a lifetime of reading for these families is everything.

Fifteen years later, the books change, the kids grow up, but the magic of sharing a story never gets old.
