WHAT AN AMAZING DAY FOR OUR COMMUNITY!

Our hearts are full after such an amazing day at our 3rd Annual Tom’s Lunch BBQ!
Together, our community raised an incredible $3,084! Every dollar will help support the Tom’s Lunch Program and provide hot meals for students at Blackville School.

3RD ANNUAL TOM’S LUNCH BBQ

It’s that time again! This Thursday, September 3rd, we are bringing back our Annual Tom’s Lunch BBQ at Blackville Foodland!

NO NEED TO BRING YOUR LUNCH!
Stop in between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM and enjoy a delicious lunch for only $5!
Your $5 includes:
🌭 Hotdog OR Hamburger
🥔 Bag of Chips
🍪 Cookie
🥤 Pop OR Water

And it’s more than just lunch! All proceeds go directly to Tom’s Lunch Program at Blackville School, helping provide hot meals to students who may otherwise go without.

Last school year, 2025–2026, Tom’s Lunch was able to provide 285 students in need with a hot lunch!
That incredible number is because of YOU — our amazing community!

We will also have lots of fun for the whole family:
Face Painting
Bouncy Castle
50/50 (50% to the winner and 50% Tom's Lunch)
Picnic tables and a place to sit, enjoy your lunch and have some fun!

We are excited to announce that Beth Cudahy Cormier is the winner of our 4-ticket Rockin' River Fest Giveaway! Congratulations, Beth! We hope you have an amazing time enjoying all the great music and festivities.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered by liking, sharing, and commenting on our contest post. We truly enjoyed reading your comments about what you love about the Miramichi Rockin' River Fest and what you appreciate about your local Blackville Foodland. Your kind words and support mean the world to us.
We were also thrilled to have our former team member, Tessa Mun, join us for the draw. Tessa is spending her summer working with Rockin' River Fest, making this collaboration even more special.
This giveaway was a wonderful partnership between Blackville Foodland and Miramichi Rockin' River Fest, celebrating local music, local talent, and community spirit. We are especially proud to support Blackville's own Amber Walls and Amelia Underhill, who will be performing at this year's festival.
The prize was made possible through the generosity of both organizations, with two tickets sponsored by Blackville Foodland and two tickets sponsored by Rockin' River Fest.
