WHAT THE HECK IS BLACK GARLIC? ๐ง The Crowsnest Pantry
It looks a little suspicious. But black garlic is regular garlic thatโs been slowly aged under controlled heat and humidity until it turns dark, soft and almost sweet.
The flavour is much milder than fresh garlic โ a little sweet, savoury and almost balsamic-y. Add it to pasta, sauces, dressings, mashed potatoesโฆ or anywhere you want a little extra flavour.
