Happy Sunday everyone. We just wanted to let you all know that we are now closed for the season, we managed to sell absolutely every single vegetable we had in the stand yesterday, every cob of corn was gone! I was so happy about that! It was a phenomenal season even though it is a quick season. We are trying our best to stretch the season out longer, but with limited field space it’s difficult to do as I only have so much room to grow vegetables. I am trying to find more space to use to rectify this. This year we sold more vegetables and other locals sold more in the stand than ever before so on behalf of all of us, we would love to thank everyone for supporting us. We are all very grateful!
A special thanks to my girl Jenny who has been a godsend for me. She’s been a tremendous asset to Rustic Roots for the past few years and keeps things running smoothly especially on the really hectic days. I wouldn’t be able to do it without her! And a big shout out to spud my precious grandson who has been a huge help lugging veggies and greeting everyone with his turnip sales pitch 👀. ( thank you everyone who brought his 100.00 turnips 😜)
Thank you all for a wonderful season and we will see you all next year, lord willing

Hello everyone. Here we are, the last day of the season ( I’m heading back to my other job the beginning of the week) if you are looking for corn, holy smokes I got it! We spent the entire day yesterday picking the fields clean. I have regular husked corn 1.00 a cob- 12.00 a dozen. I have husked and packaged corn in various sizes, we also have bags of 2nds -16+ cobs for 10.00.
Something for everyone! Come on down and get it while it’s available. We also have potatoes still, cucumbers, and squash ( not a huge amount but I took what I could before the gopher gets any more! We open at 2 and look forward to seeing everyone 👩‍🌾♥️

After much destruction in my corn field dnr was successful in catching this big ole bear. Now let’s hope there’s not another guy ready to raid the next corn field. WE COULDNT POSSIBLY BE HAPPIER AND MORE GRATEFUL TO NATURAL RESOURCES for their diligence and time they have put into helping us this year. Off to his/ her new home far far away from my fields 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Note I did not hang out around the cage this was a quick stop to ensure it was a bear and not a c**n. I would never harass wildlife, he was sleeping peacefully in there. But I’m a happy corn star this morning 🫶

Good morning friends. Avalon wanted me to let you all know that I won’t be able to go to to the fields to pick veggies today as it’s too wet. So the stand will be closed and he won’t have to share his mama with the corn today, and he’s pretty happy about that!! I will be open on TUESDAY at 2:00! Enjoy this beautiful Sunday 👩‍🌾

Holy moly I received a beautiful wood burning sign with my name on it this morning, it was left on the step of the stand. I do not know who made it, but it’s absolutely beautiful and I’m so touched that whoever made it for me took the time and used their talent to make something especially for me. I will proudly display it in the stand, I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the beautiful gift. I am blessed ♥️

Good afternoon everyone♥️ After being in the field this morning and scrounging up enough stuff to be able to open today, I realized that unfortunately the plants that were producing have slowed down as they do. I will be open at 2:00 today as usual with stocked shelves but today will be my last day that I will be able to open until my corn comes off. Good news is that it will only be a short time before it’s ready. This season has been the best we’ve ever had so far. We gotten a heap of veggies off the fields in a short amount of time. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished so far this season. Ice cream has been a GREAT success so far, thank you for that! Come on down and get some goodies and keep your eyes open for updates on the corn. The corn is NOT ready yet, but it’s not far off! 👩‍🌾♥️

We are open at 2:00 come on down and get some delish fresh food ♥️♥️
