Last week we were proud to host our Cram-a-Cruiser event alongside Peel Police, collecting food donations in support of the Peel Boys and Girls Club.

The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, spreading joy with meet-and-greets and plenty of smiles from the kids! 🐰💛

A huge thank you to Rod Power for your continued support of our community, Rema from FreshCo for your help throughout the day, and of course Peel Police for partnering with us on such an important initiative.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected an incredible amount of donations—filling an entire police cruiser and an additional van with food, along with many monetary contributions.

We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support and make a difference!

In retail, complaints are usually the loudest voices. No matter how much good you do, they seem to outnumber compliments 20 to 1. That’s why receiving this meant so much to me.

To whom It may concern. I just wanted to share this about the owner of Bramalea city Centre Freshco! In a time when most stores are focused on speed and sales, a store owner in Brampton who has quietly chosen something far more meaningful:people Jason , a local store owner ,does something I’ve honestly never heard of before .when residents in our assisted living building need groceries or essentials, Jason doesn’t send a delivery service or pass it off to someone else.He personally purchases the items himself and drops off tight to our door . What makes this even more special is the urgency and care he shows .No matter how busy he is, if someone needs food delivered right away ,Jason stops what he is doing to make sure it happens .There have even been times when I’ve had a PSW at the Residence I ask Jason to drop off later and without Hesitation he does . But it doesn’t stop at delivery. When Jason arrives ,He doesn’t just hand over bags and rush off .He comes in,puts the groceries away,and then stays to talk with me for about 10 Minutes. -Just Geuine conversation,checking in, and making sure everything is okay .That Human connection means more than words can express,especially in an assisted living environment where moments like that truly matter. Before long,other residents started calling Jason too.Word spread quickly ,because kindness like this doesn’t stay quiet long . At Christmas,Jason went further.He stopped by with gifts — not just for me, but for the entire residence. It wasn’t for recognition or publicity; it was simply because he cared and wanted to bring some Joy to the season. I’ve never heard of a store offering this level of personal service ,compassion, and generosity.Jason isn’t just a store Owner ——he’s someone who shows up,who helps without being asked twice ,and who treats people like family. I wanted everyone to know just how special this service is , and what a genuinely great guy Jason is.

Thank you to our community for coming together to support the food drive — we collected an incredible 2,500 lbs of food to support local schools. Your generosity truly made a difference.
