Henrietta and the gang have been hard at work. In fact, the 213 eggs shown here (not Inc the tray in background) constitute output from just one week’s worth of labours. Needless to say, we’ve got plenty available for pick up or delivery - and will so for the foreseeable future.

Reminder: farm fresh, healthy, and only 50 cents a piece, sold in dozens or trays of thirty (the latter is preferred). Let us know how we can help fill your fridge 😁🥚😁🥚😁🥚😁

Move over Punxsutawney Phil, the chickens are coming out of their coop more and more these days. It’s a good sign that truly the weather is turning!

Hi guys. Thanks for all the recent calls. Really appreciate your support of the coop club. Just a heads up: because of the coyote visit at the end of last month, our production is down a little bit.

On the up side, fresh reserves (ie day-old chicks) will be arriving next week. Once they mature, we’ll have a larger flock than ever before.

🦊🚫 Coyote Trouble at Wheat City Coop Co 🚫🦊

Well… turns out we’ve had an uninvited dinner guest lately — and unfortunately, he’s been helping himself to a few of our chickens. 😔

This crafty coyote has been making late-night visits, and we’ve had a few sad losses. We’re sharing this so our neighbours and fellow chicken keepers can keep a close eye on their flocks — especially after dark and in the early mornings.

📸 We even got a picture of the culprit… looking like he’s ready for his next “reservation.”

Stay safe out there, and lock up those coops tight — this guy’s got no table manners!
