STORING ONIONS...
~Pick onions with tops that are LIMP & FALLEN over.
~ if cutting tops off, LEAVE ABOUT A 2” STEM
~LAY onions OUT in a single layer in your garage or shed for a couple of weeks to DRY. (…on a tarp or large piece of cardboard makes for easy clean up!)
~ after dried, gather them into your bushel for storing in a COOL, DARK, DRY PLACE…sort through your bushel every month for SOFT ONIONS and put them on top to USE FIRST.
