Spelt Bran has joined the Sabatier Heritage Foods lineup, celebrating the prairie grain traditions at the heart of our craft. To mark the launch, we’re releasing our first signature recipe: rich and delicious Spelt Bran Truffles.

Spelt Bran Truffles
Ingredients:
½ cup of SHF Spelt Bran
1 cup of smooth nut butter of your choice
¼ cup of maple syrup
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
2. Fold in the spelt bran until a dough is formed.
3. Roll into 1 inch balls and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes, then enjoy.

Let’s show up for one of our own, Dalhousie!

It truly doesn’t get more local than Brayden Lowe. Born and raised right here in Dalhousie, Brayden has supported our community for years and now it’s our turn to support him.

Brayden is a local recording artist known for his smooth, R&B-inspired sound. He has been featured by CBC and was a finalist in the Cowboys Music Festival’s opener contest. Now, he’s bringing an incredible night of live music home to Dalhousie.
