💛 The Heart of Baby Gourmet 💛
Ten years ago, The Heart of Baby Gourmet didn’t begin as a program — it began as a moment.
A mom reached out to us looking for guidance on feeding her six-month-old baby who had recently undergone heart surgery and was struggling with food. She had heard of Baby Gourmet and only wanted the very best to nourish her baby as he recovered.
There were no cameras. No photos. No PR.
Just two sisters - and moms and our co-founders - Jen and Jill, cooking baby food and personally delivering it to her home. One family helping another.
That simple act of care became the inspiration behind The Heart of Baby Gourmet.
Today, that same heart continues to grow. Through partnerships with local food banks in Ontario and Alberta, and essential aid organizations like Mamas for Mamas, we have now donated 1,014,059 meals to families facing challenging times — while also helping reduce food waste along the way.
This initiative was built on a company-wide belief that Canada’s most vulnerable population — babies and toddlers — deserve access to the highest quality organic food, made with care and intention.
