The smallest & the largest side by side. The same diet , the same amount of sun / shade / love !

I did this. Start to finish I’ve provided food for my family , at a fraction of the cost of a grocery store not on sale whole chicken !!

I thank these birds for giving me their life to sustain mine. I know they didn’t have a choice , but it was my choice to care for them and love them right until the very end.

I owe everyone an apology for the delay.

I had every intention of doing the waffle draw live yesterday, but Facebook had other plans. Apparently, because of Ontario’s gambling regulations, it wouldn’t let me go live.

Rather than keep everyone waiting any longer, I’m announcing the winner today.

Well… I finally gave in and got a prescription because I’m absolutely COVERED in poison ivy. Head to toe. 😩

Now I’m curious… what’s everyone’s go-to remedy? Not the textbook answer of antihistamines, the old wives tales that your parents or grandparents swore by!!!!

I’ve been marinating myself in rubbing alcohol, and every time I fill up the truck I swear I’m tempted to rub a little gas on it too. 😂 (Don’t worry, I’m joking… mostly… maybe .)

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve tried that actually worked?? Cause I’m LOOOOSIN my mind with this itch!!

Brought some friends home from the auction .. so of course we stopped at McDonald’s to get a cool drink ! Sitting inside a crate all day is hot and exhausting you know.
After our quick snack we headed home and as much as I’d love to say these beautiful blue eyed Sebastapol pair are mine .. alas they are not and will be going to their forever home this evening !! We did have a lot of fun with them though !!
