Our mission is to provide a community network in the Camrose area for locally grown or processed foods, locally made products, as well as social and educational activities for the mutual benefit of our producer and consumer members. The actions of the group are governed by the core values of healthy rural communities, education, environmental stewardship, social justice, and vibrant econo

mies. Vision

Our vision is a local, sustainable food system in which:

- food in Camrose is produced close to home on farms using ecologically sound and humane production methods;
- food on our tables is fresh, healthy, safe, delicious, and varies with the seasons;
- farmers receive fair incomes for their work stewarding the land and providing quality food for their neighbours;
- local food dollars go to local producers and businesses, thereby contributing to a vibrant local economy;
- knowledge can be shared amongst producers and consumers to foster understanding and strengthen our community.
