We’re excited to announce that vendor applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Canmore Mountain Market!

The market will take place every Thursday on 20 market days beginning May 21 through to October 1, from 10am to 6pm at Elevation Place, 700 Railway Avenue in Canmore. The vendor application deadline is March 1 and applicants will be notified of the outcome by March 15.

Vendor Feature! Originally Celtic, born in Wales, Caroline went to Cyprus in her early 20’s and set up an indigenous herbs of Cyprus herbal gardens. This was a labour of love, and there she learned from the elders to distill essential oils, grow and harvest herbs.

Honouring the traditional ways of gathering, growing and using the herbs, Caroline was given many nationwide awards for her contributions to sustainability of local culture and the environment. She had also trained as a herbalist and then transferred her business to the UK where she produced books and courses on educating people how to safely identify, harvest and use herbs for health.

Since moving to Canada last year, she’s had many requests from people to share her useful skills and has since setup her Heaven on Earth Herbals apothecary business in Alberta.

Vendor Feature! Meet Mikis.Kreations. Naty started to bead Indigenous handmade jewelry in 2016 and hasn’t looked back. Beading has been acting as her medicine to calm her anxiety and her soul ever since. Naty’s style is very colourful, creating one of a kind, long and dangly earrings and necklaces. She specialises in statement earrings using mainly beads but also incorporates natural products such as shells, hides and stones.

She’s grown through beading. It teaches her patience, resilience and to not be afraid to show her art to people.

Vendor Feature! Tomas Zalepa, the photographer behind the lens of Banff Wildlife Photos, is a nature and wildlife photographer who has called Banff, Alberta home for over ten years.

Raised in the Carpathian mountains of Europe, Tomas has always lived close to nature, but finds himself most attracted to the untamed wild places of North America. He specializes in landscape and wildlife photography that offer a rare glimpse into the secret life of the mountains, forest and tundra.

Nest has been serving up the most delicious tasting, healthy, superfood lemonades at the market all summer long. Try their hibiscus, ginger lemonade with acerola cherry, fresh mint and cane sugar or their blue spirulina lime/lemonade with fresh mint.

Part of the proceeds go towards The Biosphere Institute’s Wildsmart program, an initiative started by Nest, which brings awareness to human and wildlife co-existence in the Bow Valley.
