We are letting you know that we will be closing the orchard at 8 pm tonight, August 14 because there are very few cherries left on the bushes. We do have a few prepicked cherries left for those who may be interested. It has been a good season and we thank all our customers that showed up to pick or buy our sour cherries and hope we will see you again next year!

We are located about 2 kilometers west of the village of Christopher Lake along Hwy 263. Look for our U-Pick cherry signs and follow them to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road.
U-Pick cherries are only $3.50 a pound and pre-picked cherries are $6.50 per pound. We provide pails for picking cherries but please bring your own containers to take the cherries home.

The rain has stopped and the sun is breaking through the clouds from time to time and the smoke is not bad right now, so take advantage of the good cherry picking weather and come out to pick! This is quite possibly the last weekend we will be open, depending of course on how many cherries remain on our bushes.
The picking remains easy for all varieties when you find the right bush.

We are still open, the picking has been going well, but there are still lots of cherries and the picking remains easy; a half our to pick a 7 pound pail! We will be open this coming weekend but we are not sure how much longer after that, this may be the last weekend for picking cherries so don't be disappointed and come out soon.

Hello everyone: this post if just a reminder to all those sour cherry lovers that the Frandsen Sour Cherry U-Pick orchard is open this long weekend and the picking is still easy. It's a great activity for the whole family and during these warm temperatures there is usually a breeze in the orchard making the picking quite pleasant.

We are open from 8am until 8pm every day until the cherries are gone. We are located about 2 kilometers west of the village of Christopher Lake along Hwy 263. Look for our U-Pick cherry signs and follow them to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road.

We would like to let you know that we are now open for the 2025 Sour Cherry U-Pick season! As of Monday July 28 we will be open every day from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm until the cherries are gone. Just fair warning although this year's crop is beautiful there are not as many cherries as last year, so to avoid disappointment don't delay your picking excursions.

Prices are $3.50 a pound for U-Pick cherries and $6.50 a pound for Prepicked cherries. We provide pails for picking but please bring your own containers or bags for taking your cherries home.

We are located in the Christopher Lake area, about 2 km west of the village of Christopher Lake. Follow highway 263 west to Dochylo road (near first turn of the highway) and follow the signs to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road. You can call 306-314-2446 if you need more information.

Hello Everyone, we are posting now to let all our regular and new customers know that the cherries are developing well and we expect many of them to be ripe for picking by the August long weekend, August 1st. We will formally post again to let you know when we open our U-Pick. When we open we will also put up our signs along Hwy 263 and Dochylo road (about 2 km west of Christopher Lake hamlet) that will direct you to our orchard at 24 Dochylo Road.
