Orono's General Store We are a true small town general store for all your local shopping needs. We are a true general store, run by long-time Orono residents.

Our goal is to remain as local as possible with our suppliers keeping all of your hard-earned dollars within our community. We have all your general shopping needs such as meat, vegetables, preserved, canned & dry goods, dairy (cheese, milk, butter, etc.), eggs, honey, breads & baked goods (gluten free options too), frozen items and so much more. There will also be other items you would expect a p

roper general store to be carrying. We will strive to keep our prices fair so that you can shop here regardless of your budget. We won’t have the buying power that the big box stores do but we will save you the time and gas money it costs to shop at those places and you can feel good that your money is going to local community farmers and businesses.

I would like to Thank everyone for all the flowers, messages, visits and phone calls while I was in the hospital and at home recovering. I am slowly coming back to the store this week and am excited to see y’all. A Big HUGE Thanks goes out to Doreen Kirkbride and Chloe Kirkbride for being amazing employees through this time and of course my favourite person Ian. I love ya for everything you do and being you. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart for the support and patience through this time ❤️

As many of you already know… I have been making lasagnes, shepherd pies and cabbage rolls which are frozen and ready to bake at home. I’ve also been making many different meals that are ready to heat and eat daily. For example today we have meat loaf with mashed potatoes or perogies and veggies, sirloin tip with perogies and veggies (perogies dinners come with sour cream) so if you’re feeling lazy today for whatever reason then come in and get you some home cooked comfort food. Thank you to everyone that has been enjoying my dinners for the last few months. I took sometime before posting to make sure I could keep up on my own. All dinners are $15 and my lasagnes are $20
