The Coquitlam Farmers Market started as a Community Economic Development project by SFU students in 1996, and has been creating a gathering place for the community and an outlet for crafters,

bakers and farmers to sell their goods ever since. In 2005 we expanded into Port Moody and created the Port Moody Winter Farmers Market. This market is a fabulous place to find delicious local food, seasonal vegetables, and beautiful artisan crafts.

🎵 Musician Spotlight 🎵

Adam has had music in his life for as long as he can remember: from being forced to play piano as a toddler, rebelling with guitar as a teenager, and touring Canada with his band Shotgun in his 20s. Recently, Adam has been writing and recording original music, learning some busking classics, and has been honing the art of “acoustic karaoke” - feel free to bring a well-known song recommendation and he will do his best to perform it with you on the spot!

We make buns that stop you mid-bite and make you go, whoa! At Solo Break Haus, our signature Salt Bread is flaky, buttery, and golden on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. Our OG Salty Bread is always a go-to: simple, classic, and impossible to resist. Savoury, satisfying, and just a little bit addicting. Each bun is handcrafted with love and layered with flavor. From our Garlicky Parm to the Salty Almond, and our fan-favorite Salty Pineapple, there’s something for every craving. 🎵 Musician Spotlight 🎵

John Bowman is a singer/songwriter based in Maple Ridge. John is a veteran guitar player, who uses a finger-picking style of playing. He writes songs in the genres of singer-songwriter, folk, and blues.

John has released five CDs, “Beach on the Ocean” in 2011 and “Alone on a Saturday Night” in 2013 and “Tourist Town” in 2016 “Love, Grace and Gratitude” in 2019 and “Fast Track for a Slow Horse`` in 2022.

John’s musical influences include James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Brown.

John is a regular performer at various Farmer’s Markets and listening venues throughout the Lower Mainland.

John continues to work at the craft of song writing, co-writing with other songwriters, and providing feedback to help other songwriters.
