We are enjoying the arrival of the first Spring batch of Burrata. It seems like such a summer cheese because it's so often paired with fresh tomatoes. But it's a lovely addition to warm dishes like risotto or in this case a bowl of creamy tomato soup. Served up with a selection of grilled cheese sandwiches, my favorite being made with Jalapeño Havarti on some of Ankia's fresh made sourdough.

The kitchen has been in production mode. We've restocked the freezer with frozen mac & cheese and our delicious broccoli & blue cheese soup. While the temps are rising, the nights are still cool enough to enjoy with a warm bowl of soup and some melty cheese!
