What an amazing weekend on the farm! 🌻🐝🦆✨ We accomplished so much and it fills my heart with gratitude and happiness.
First and foremost, we welcomed 10 adorable Pekin ducklings to our farm. These little fluffballs have brought so much joy and cuteness already. We can’t wait to watch them grow and thrive in their new home. Our own duckling eggs started hatching yesterday morning … 4 so far! I think we’re grandparents now
In addition to the ducklings, we also introduced thousands of bees to their new hive homes. It’s incredible to think about the vital role these amazing creatures play in our ecosystem. We’re thrilled to be able to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment. I will be a bee 🐝 whisperer!! . Oh - the pigs escaped, they lived their best life under the 🍎 tree of the small coop. Diggs was unimpressed with their manners lol … kisses 💋 😘 🐕 🐖
Our green thumbs were busy too! We built planters and planted only a few of the plants that we need too but whatevs! They add vibrant colours and life to our farm. Gotta feed these hungry mouths! It’s so rewarding to see the fruits of our labour and know that we’re contributing to the beauty of nature.
Eva had a blast with her book and movie club It’s heartwarming to see her enthusiasm for learning, reading and trivia and the joy it brings her.
We also had the pleasure of hosting a delicious BBQ at the farm, where we had the chance to connect with our friends - new and old ones. Sharing good food, laughs and games! Dan Leal Amber Leal
And last but not least, I am proud to say that I successfully persuaded to make me more of her sourdough English muffins. May have guilted and whined long enough 😝
This weekend was filled with accomplishments, connections, and simple pleasures that remind us of the beauty of farm life. I am grateful for all that we have achieved and the wonderful memories we have created. Here’s to many more weekends like this on our busy lil farm! 🌾🌞🚜
