We'd like to thank everyone that has attended the market this summer.

After much reflection, we've decided to cancel the remainder of the planned summer events. It was a difficult decision but with the low turnout, it just didn't seem like the right timing for most.

We do have plans to host fall and winter events so please stay tuned for future updates.

We're planning to go ahead with the market today but we do have to keep an eye on the Air Quality Advisory.

As of now, the smoke is not expected to return to Deer Lake until tonight but if the wind shifts earlier we may have to adjust the closing time of the market.

Advisory: Smoke from several wildfires in central Newfoundland will likely return to the region tonight and Thursday morning. Conditions may vary locally as wind and fire behaviour changes.

WOW!!! Thank you to everyone that came out to the Main Street Market this evening.

Main Street was full and the energy was high. It's definitely a highlight of Summer 2022 thus far.

Thank you to the antique car owners that came out to show their pride, thank you to the 45 vendors that setup in a windy uncertain afternoon. Thank you to Langers Sports Bar for providing libation and live music, thank you to the Deer Lake Come Home Year 2022 committee for pulling out all the stops, thank you to Alysha Rice for all her hard work.

And.... Thank you to the Town of Deer Lake and all the amazing residents and businesses that let us take over Main Street.

What an amazing town we live, work, and play in.

The only picture I managed to take this afternoon, was the crowd at the car show! If this is any indication as to how many people attended our first Annual, Main Street Market, all I can say is, WOW!

We had lots of comments from local public, letting us know it was “a blast from the past” to see Main Street thriving and filled with community spirit once again! Thank you for letting us be apart of that 🙂

Thank you all for your unconditional support, showing up and our vendors for working SO hard!

We are BLOWN away to say the least - catch us next week at our original destination, Nicholsville Road, across from Joe Butt’s lookout 🥳

A huge thanks to the Deer Lake Come Home Year 2022 committee, we couldn’t have done it without your partnership! 🥰

The Main Street Market and Car Show is happening today from 5PM to 8PM.

We are shutting down Main Street to pedestrians only. There will be food vendors, entertainment, amazing artists and crafts people. Langers will also have their patio open on Main Street with live entertainment.

It looks like the rain has passed.
