Don’t be a Prune… Italian Plums Are Ready!
…Fresh-picked, no-spray, organically grown plums just in from the orchard and bursting with flavour!

Bulk Special: 10 lbs=$20 ($2.00/lb=44¢/100g)

Small Orders: $3/lb (66¢/100g)

Perfect for fresh eating, jam, drying, or fermenting.

❤️Wash the Boom off or leave it on?❤️

What you see on the plums is called the bloom, a natural waxy coating + wild yeast that helps keep the fruit fresh.

Benefits of leaving the bloom on:
1. Acts as a natural barrier to moisture loss…keeps plums firm longer.

2. Carries natural wild yeast… perfect if you want to ferment, make natural yeast for baking, or make fruit wine.

3. Gives that “just-picked” look that tells you they haven’t been over-handled or coated in store wax.

Reasons to wash them off:
- If you’re eating them immediately and want a cleaner bite.

- When roasting, drying, or canning… washing removes dust and any surface microbes.

- If you’re making jam or jelly and prefer a clear product (bloom can cloud syrups).

🍷Fun Ways to Use Your Plums🍷
- Fresh snacking: eat straight from the bowl.

- Roast or grill: caramelizes the sugars for a dessert topping.

- Jam & preserves — classic Italian plum jam, freezer jam, or chutney.

- Dry into prunes: perfect healthy snack.

- Ferment: try plum wine, plum vinegar, or wild yeast starter for baking.

- Infuse spirits: slice and soak in vodka or Everclear with a touch of sugar for a deep red liqueur.

Seed sovereignty was moved from Right to “privilege” in Canada... NOW, Ottawa is moving to narrow when farmers and ranchers can save seed or forage... and once saving seed is treated as a privilege, it can be taken away at any time...
