Duncan butcher shop was opened in 1980 by John Eldridge then in 1985 it was reopened by Barry Fisher who then ran the business and sold it to Ron Tuson in 1989 . Ron ran the shop for twenty one years and moved the

shop once .now as a predecessor to Ron myself Graeme Blackstock bought the shop from Ron in 2009. The three meat cutters today that work at the shop all trained and honed the trade of meat cutting at the Duncan butcher shop. The shop has been locally owned and operated for 31 years. Duncan butcher shop has stood the test of time and it is only getting better in each year

Organic beef, hormone-free and non-medicated pork and poultry, free-run bison and venison, sides of beef and pork, whole lambs, turkeys, and even BBQ pigs. Whether you’re planning a backyard feast or stocking up for the season, we’ve got your butcher needs covered.

All of our fresh sausages, pepperoni, hams, bacon, garlic coils, smokies, and sausage rolls are made in-house with care and craftsmanship. The only part of our process we proudly outsource is our curing and smoking - handled by Rick Fisher at Glenwood Meats, a local legend known for his exceptional standards and consistency.
