Hi, my name is Marisa, and I love to bring fresh and local fruits together in flavourful and creative ways. Albert, starting in my backyard, producing beautiful fruit. However, most of the fruit went to waste, falling to the ground or being picked at by birds and small animals. This tugged at my heart strings a little! So I started asking my neighbors if I could use their fruit for jams, or baking
, etc and they would often receive a jar of jam or jelly made from their tree. But I would always have an over abundance of different varieties in the storage, many of which I would end up giving away to friends. Since this happens every year the trees are bearing fruit, the friends can't keep up, and I can't seem to stop myself from trying new combinations, or adding different spices to change things up! I have to say, the reviews are always positive. When working with simple flavours and fresh tasy fruit, there's no way to mess it up! And, ahem, they also make great gifts. Just sayin ;) Prices are from $5 to $7 for a 250mL jar. Larger jars (not always available are more and smaller are less :) )
